Have some sketches and storyboards

I'm still trying to figure out digital landscape painting which also means practicing perspective.  I'm using Cupid and Psyche to work on pre-production skills, so did some sketches of key scenes. 

Here's a sketch of Psyche sneaking up on a sleeping Cupid.

Here's another one from just a few moments later in the shot where he leaves her.

Both sketches need more work before I can go in further, but they get what I want across so they're alright.

I also have some storyboards of the opening of the film.  There will be narration over it, but I'm still working out what it will be exactly. 

I now have to figure out how I'm going to get the next boards to explain what I want to happen next, which means research time.

Psyche illustration and some character design stuff.

I've been trying to work on my digital painting skills recently and the above image is the result of one experiment.  I want to broaden my skill set to include background and more conceptual work.  I've also been working on character studies for Cupid and Psyche while I've been attempting to finish the script.

I'm still working on a full sheet for Aphrodite and some smaller ones for the secondary characters, like Psyche's sisters and parents, Apollo, Artemis and a chunk of other gods and goddesses.

Revisiting an old bit of animation

So I got my copy stand fixed up yesterday (we had to replace the connector bit of one of the lamps), and so I've been able to shoot my animation work without having to rearrange my room.  Here's something I shot to test it out.  I'm still trying to get rid of the hot spots from the lights, but it's progress. 
 

I started this shot about a year ago, then put it away to work on my short film.   I thought I had thrown it out, but I just found it in my animation box, so I'm going to work on finishing it up.
